It's Jazz Time

Josh and Tommy and I went to see the Utah Jazz play. It was a blast. Tommy and I were screaming and cheering and having a great time. As fate would have it, on the very night we went to go see the Jazz play- they won!!!! Talk about a great time. The score was 97-87 versus the Chicago Bulls. We can't wait to go again!!!

Crafty, Crafty, Crafty

We had so much fun making our own Valentine cards. The kids
love to paint, so this was a great activity for them.
Josh and I also got our hands dirty, so much fun!!!

I'm an AUNTIE!!!!

Here he is my little nephew!
Caleb David Broadbent

Cuter than cute.

He is the seventh grandchild on the Gardner side (mom) and the 2nd grandchild on the Broadbent side (dad). I think he looks like his dad, but he sure smiles like is mom. They are gonna be great parents. I'm so happy for them, and I am such a proud Auntie!!!

I've been TAGGED...

By the way, thanks Chauntel!!! Hey this is my opportunity to share a little bit about myself. If you guys didn't already know...hehehehe!

I was a junior in high school. I was a section leader in the band, I was in French Honor Society, and holding two jobs. I absolutely loved High School. Ah, to be young again.

--5 things on my list today
1. Take a shower
2. Take kids to and from school
3. Laundry
4. Take a nap
5. Eat Cake

--Snacks I enjoy
Can anyone say CHOCOLATE?!!! Pretty much any kind, but brownies are my favorite.

--If I suddenly became a millionaire
I would pay off all my debts, fix up my house the way I want it, buy a brand new car, and go on a cruise. Then I would invest the rest. I love money and I always wished I had enough to do what I want. Oh well, if wishes were fishes we'd all have a fry.

--3 bad habits
1. I yell a lot- just ask the kids
2. I eat too many sweets
3. I don't think of other people nearly enough

--5 places I've lived
1. Beilingen, Germany
2. Bountiful, Utah
3. Albuquerque, New Mexico
4. Texas (Lubbuck, and Houston)
5. Idaho (Rexburg and Pocatello)

--5 Jobs I've had
1. Geppeddo Dolls
2. Photograper, Sears
3. Waitress
4. Movie Theatre
5. Home Decorating

--5 things people don't know about me
1. I love to be around people
2. I love to kiss (my husband of course)
3. I am excited to get older-- I know weird huh?
4. I hate being cold, but I love to ski and sled.
5. I am happy with my life, my family and my friends- I wouldn't change a thing!!!

Now, as for tagging others- I tag, Jasmine Gardner, Mohna Thuernagle, Aimee Toomey, Jamie Schiipanboord, and Melanie West....

Rules... post a new blog with the questions and answers, that way we get to know more about you, then tag up to 5 other people. But send them an email or comment on their blog so they know they have been TAGGED!!! Good luck.

I love to see the Temple
I'm going there someday
to feel the Holy Spirit
to listen and to pray
For the temple is a house of God
a place of Love and beauty
I'll prepare myself while I am young
this is my sacred Duty
I love to see the Temple
I'll go inside someday
to covenant with my Father
I promise to obey
For the temple is a Holy place
where we are sealed together
As a child of God I've learned this truth
a family is Forever.

These are our beautiful, bright eyed, bushy-tailed kids on our EARLY morning trip to Rexburg for our tour. We got to go on a guided tour of the Rexburg Temple. It was incredible. The light, the colors, the spirit... The kids really enjoyed being able to see what the inside of the temple looked like, and it was nice for Josh and I to answer their questions. I love the Temple, other than being at home with my family, the temple is my favorite place. I was grateful to share this experience with my family!

(The Temple will be dedicated on Feb. 10, 2008)

Her very first...

What a night! What a dance! I am the proud mama of a dancer... Savana went out in her little tutu and danced her heart out. This was her very first recital, and she couldn't have been more excited. She had been talking about this for weeks and weeks. So, we invited everyone that we could to come see her, and for the rest of you- you get the pictures!!!! She really did a WONDERFUL job. Wish everyone could have been there!!

One Year Older...

A milestone to remember. Timothy Eldred Hunter Dickhaut, turned one year old on January 23, 2008. He is such a blessing to our family. His laughter fills our home and brightens our world. He can change a gloomy day into a perfect one, just with his smile or a hug. Isn't that the gift of a child? He certainly is growing well, he measured at 31 inches, and 22lbs 9oz. The doctor says he is perfect in every way and I tend to agree. This first year has been great, I can't wait for the rest of them.
