It has now been 1 week since Timothy started going potty like a BIG BOY! I was so afraid he would never do it- it turns out he has a stubborn streak and if he doesn't want to do something he won't. He kept telling his aunties that he would go potty when he was 21 or 42! And he really wouldn't do it. So last Monday we had a family home evening lesson on being able to do hard things, like tying your shoe, learning to read, write, ride a bike, and going potty in the toilet- but that once you learned it was easy. Josh told him that the next day he was going to start- and He went potty and said it was "AWESOME". He has been doing extremely well, and it just gets better every day. It's unfortunate that I still have over 100 diapers left, but I am so happy to not have to use them EVER again. We went to the store and he picked out some new underwear which he is so excited about! I'm so proud of him- He keeps walking around saying "I'm a big boy, not a baby anymore!"

New Furniture
I finally got Josh to buy me new couches!! We got a little extra vacation money and Josh was going to buy himself a couple of guns- instead I think I had pestered him enough that he so graciously offered me some of the money to buy a new couch. Look, I got two for the price of one! I'm such a good shopper. (Josh did help pick them out)
Pine Wood Derby BABY!!!!
Today was Tommy's very first participation in the Pine Wood Derby. I am so proud of him. He and Josh took a lot of time designing, building and painting his car. Tommy picked the shape and design, and even did about 85% of the work. It was a lot different than I thought it would be, but it was fun anyways. There were 6 cars total- 5 scout cars and one sister car. Tommy took 4th overall. His car was a little lighter than the others, but such is the game. He did take home a certificate for "MOST EXTREME" car! Tommy's car averaged 189mph- that's pretty dang fast if you ask me. Luckily, there is still 3 more years to improve the design and speed!

I think he had a pretty awesome car. It's definitely a collectible!!!! It's going in the MANTIC! (man + attic = mantic) if you were wondering.

Sisters
These girls are so funny. I had made these cute flower clips to go in their hair and they wanted to model them off, not only for me, but for the whole world. After I finished doing their hair Savana asked if I would take THEIR pictures, then as soon as I did, she asked if I would put it on the blog. So here you are- my beautiful girls... On the Blog!

Better late than never right?
About a month ago Savana had her first grade program. Each class gathered and sang songs about things they've learned or will learn. Savana's class sang "Hip Hop Bunny." It was pretty cute. She was so cute about the whole thing, she wanted to get dressed up, curl her hair and put make up on! I love these little programs!

He's a BOBCAT!!!
I am so proud of Tommy. Last night we went to the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet, and there he received his blue and gold patch and also his Bobcat award. I even got a pin too! There was a cool little ceremony in which I got to paint his face. Two blue and two gold stripes on his face. Then he got to draw one line on my face... (he thought that was pretty cool.) It was a fun night, and I am so proud!

Milestone
The other day, after I had just gotten the tires changed on my car, the receipt showed to come back in for a re-torque. When I was looking at the paper I noticed that it was almost all 1's- Josh and I thought it would be cool to take a picture when it hits all 1's. (Yeah, it was cool)
So here is the milestone, my car has reached 111111.1 miles!
Documented proof!
